KNITTING SPEED:
20 stitches wide and 27 rows high with 2 strands and stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE: Remember that needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches in 10 cm, change to thicker needles. If you get too few stitches in 10 cm, change to thinner needles.
