Drops Air is an ideal knitting yarn. An exciting blown yarn made from soft baby alpaca and warm merino wool. The construction of the yarn is unique in that the fibres are not spun together, but instead blown into a “sock” using innovative technology. Garments made from Air are approximately 30-35% lighter than garments made from conventionally spun yarn of the same thickness. You therefore get a thick but lightweight yarn in Air. An incredibly airy yarn that feels soft against the skin. Drops Air is ideal for knitting blouses, cardigans and accessories such as shawls, hats and mittens in both textured patterns and cables.
