Drops Big Merino

All our superwash treated merino yarns should be machine washed on a delicate programme. That said, there are some important tips for washing this yarn:

• Machine wash - separately - on delicate wash 40ºC with a gentle spin (approx. 800 revolutions), using a detergent without enzymes or optical brightener.
• Never use fabric softener on superwash-treated yarn - the fibres become so soft that they slip apart.
• Never soak clothes or leave them in the washing machine for too long when it's ready.
• Dry clothes flat in the correct shape and size - do not hang - preferably on a warm bathroom floor or on a drying rack in a room with good circulation, never in direct sunlight.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Never iron directly on the garment. Use a tea towel between the iron and the garment.

Please note: If you want to wash a project that is a combination of this and another yarn, follow the washing instructions for the yarn with the finest/most delicate fibres.
