Drops Polaris is a 1-strand yarn spun in the same soft wool quality as Drops Snow. The yarn is particularly suitable for interior projects as well as outdoor garments such as hats, scarves, bags and ponchos. It knits easily on thick needles with the same gauge as two strands of Drops Snow.
Drops Polaris is a multi-coloured yarn, which means that the wool is produced by carding the colours together before spinning, creating a beautiful mix effect. The yarn is made from untreated wool, which means that it is only washed and not subjected to any chemical treatment before colouring. This treatment emphasises the natural properties of the wool and creates more beautiful stitches.
