Santa's Body

1. 6 sc in magic circle
2. 2 sc in each sc = 12 sts
3. 2 sc in every other sc = 18 sts
4. 2 sc in every third st = 24 sts
5. 2 sc in every fourth stitch and
   1 sc in the others = 30
6. 1 sc in each st
7. 1 sc in each st
8. 1 sc in each st
9. 1 sc in each st
10. 1 sc in each st
11. 1 sc in each st
12. 4 sc and then 2 sc together = 24 sts
13. 1 sc in each st
14. 3 sc and then 2 sc together = 18 sts
15. 1 sc in each st
16. 2 sc and then 2 sc together = 14 sts.
    Put in the teddy bear filling. Stuff it a little extra tightly.
    It can easily be shaped at the end. Finish crocheting with
    decreases as described:
17. 2 sc and then 2 sc together - continue
    with these decreases until it is a small point
    Top. Staple the end and shape the chicken a bit like a
    Eggs.

Pull together with a chain stitch

Crochet 1 double crochet in each

Pull together into a small round ball

Santa's hat

Start with 26 chain stitches

Turn with 1 chain stitch

Crochet 25 double crochets

Turn with 1 chain stitch

Decrease 1 for every 5 sc = 21 stitches

Turn with 1 chain stitch

1 double crochet in each = 21 stitches

Turn with 1 chain stitch

Decrease 1 for every 4 double crochets = 17 stitches

Turn with 1 chain stitch

Decrease 1 for every 3 fasc = 13 stitches

Turn with 1 chain stitch

Crochet 13 double crochets

Turn with 1 chain stitch

Decrease 1 for every 2 double crochets = 10 stitches

Weave the other end of the stitch 1 chain stitch and continue round to where 4 double crochets = 8 stitches

Crochet in the round with decreases for every other stitch until there are only 3 double crochets left

Tighten and staple the end
