3 ply thick luxury yarn. The wool blend in Nepal emphasises the alpaca's silky soft surface while the wool contributes to its dimensional stability.
The fibres are untreated, which means they have only been washed and not subjected to chemical treatment before dyeing.
Nepal is particularly suitable for felting, for example. It gives the fabric an even and soft surface.
