Drops Nepal is a gorgeous, thick luxury yarn spun from 35% superfine alpaca and 65% wool. This blend emphasises the alpaca's silky smooth surface, while the wool contributes to better shape retention. The fibres are untreated, which means that they are only washed and not subjected to chemical treatments before dyeing, preserving the natural properties of the yarn.
The quality is spun from 3 threads, resulting in a rustic and beautiful stitch pattern.
Drops Nepal is easy to knit with and is particularly suitable for felting, giving the garment an even and soft surface after felting.
Nepal is available in mixed colours, which means that the wool is carded together before spinning, creating a beautiful mottled effect in the finished yarn.
