A good rule of thumb is to use at least one kilo of yarn (20 balls of Drops Alaska) for a project such as a jumper to be knitted in Drops Alaska
And even more if they’re in the larger sizes.
It might seem a bit funny that we, as retailers, recommend taking an extra ball or two of yarn. After all, we do sell the yarn. But the main reason for this recommendation is that we get enquiries every day from customers who are just missing that final bit for a big project they’ve perhaps been working on for a long time. And it can sometimes be difficult to source yarn from the same dye lot. So just take it with you, just to be on the safe side ;) And if you have any leftovers, you can always knit a hat or something else to match!
