Drops Soft Tweed is, as the name suggests, a super soft tweed yarn made from a combination of merino wool, superfine alpaca and viscose. The yarn is constructed by carding the fibres together with small “tweed knots” that add flecks of colour and define the yarn's distinctive appearance. As Drops Soft Tweed is a carded yarn, it is lighter and more breathable than a combed yarn, while being particularly suitable for hand knitting.
This yarn has a rustic yet elegant appearance and is easy to knit with. It produces even and beautiful stitches, making it a perfect choice for both cables and textured patterns in slipovers, blouses and jackets. Drops Soft Tweed is ideal for patterns designed for Drops Karisma, Drops Lima and Drops Merino Extra Fine.
Hand wash, max 30°C / Dry flat / Can be felted

Please note: If you want to wash a project that is a combination of this and another yarn, follow the washing instructions for the yarn with the finest/most delicate fibres.
