Cast on 38 stitches on needle size 3. Knit one round, then knit 5 cm in ribbing (knit 1, purl 1).

Change to needle 3.5 and knit 3 rows. Now start the wedge for the thumb.

Right glove

1. Knit 2, yarn over, knit 1, yarn over. Complete the round.

2. Next round: knit 2, knit the yarn over twisted, knit 1, knit the yarn over twisted. Finish the round.

3. Then knit one round without increases.

These 3 stitches are repeated 3 times, with 3 and 5 stitches between wraps (increases) respectively.

The next round is knitted as follows. Knit 1, place the 9 stitches on a thread. Now cast on 3 stitches using a twisted yarn over on the needle. Finish knitting the round.

Continue in stockinette stitch until 14 cm (or desired length).

Now knit 2 stitches together at the beginning of row 1, knit 2 stitches together at the end of row 2.

2 stitches twisted together at the beginning of row 3 and 2 stitches knit together at the end of row 4.

Continue these decreases on every round until there are 2 stitches left on each needle. Break the yarn and then knit through the last 8 stitches.

Left mitten – knit in reverse.

Knit until there are 3 stitches left on the 4th needle, then yarn over 1, knit yarn over, knit 2.

Now the thumb is just at the end of the round, and you continue as on the right glove.

The 9 stitches on the string are placed on 2 needles. The yarn is now attached and 5 stitches are picked up, 1 in the chain, the 3 new stitches and 1 in the chain. A total of 14 stitches. Knit 7 rows. Then bind off by knitting 2 stitches together at the end of each row. When 6 stitches remain, knit the yarn through all the stitches.

The ends are fastened.
