Drops Cotton Merino yarn is a lovely superwash yarn in extra fine merino wool and long-fibre cotton.
Particularly suitable for cables, textured patterns and pearl knitting.
Content: 50% Wool & 50% Cotton

Recommended knitting needles/crochet hook: 4 mm

Drops Cotton Merino is a combination of extra fine merino wool and long-fibre cotton. We have chosen not to card the wool and cotton together, which highlights the unique properties of each fibre and creates a more beautiful play in both colour and texture. The wool is superwash treated, which makes the yarn incredibly soft against the skin and therefore ideal for baby and children's clothing.
The yarn is produced by spinning the many fine threads together, which gives the yarn fullness and roundness. This technique makes it particularly suitable for cables, textured patterns and pearl knitting. The special construction means that it is important to keep the knitting tension. Knit or crochet too tightly rather than too loosely. It's also important to follow the washing instructions. As with all merino wool yarns from Drops, merino wool comes from free-range mulesing-free animals in South Africa and South America.
