Drops Garn is popular because the brand combines good raw materials, many yarn qualities and a large recipe universe. Drops Design sets requirements for human rights, animal welfare and durability, and their production follows EU regulations in this area.
Among other things, Drops focuses on ensuring that their wool range is mulesing-free. The silk used in selected yarns is cruelty-free and is produced without harming the silk caterpillar. Only silk scraps and cocoons where the butterfly has already flown are used.
Some Drops yarns are superwash treated. This means that the wool undergoes a process that makes the yarn more resistant to washing.
Several superwash yarns from Drops Design are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. They are produced in the EU and comply with EU legislation on emissions and the environment.
