Bongo the Clown Pillow

Crochet clown: round cushion cover with pompoms for children, crocheted round from the centre out.

Goals: Diameter of the cushion cover (excluding pom-poms): 42 cm – the cover fits a cushion approximately 50 cm in diameter, as it needs to be stretched slightly to fit properly.

On the clown’s face
Drops Paris
300 g colour 27, peach
50 g colour 38, raspberry
50 g colour 37, wine red
50 g colour 24, dark grey
50 g colour 16, white

For the pom-poms:
Drops Paris
50 g colour 14, dandelion
50 g colour13, orange
50 g colour 10, turquoise
50 g colour 02, light turquoise
50 g colour 06, cherry
50 g colour 33, pink

For 1 pompom, approx. 6 cm in diameter, you need about 10 g of yarn.

Crochet tension:
17 double crochets across, 10 rows high = 10 x 10 cm.

Crochet hook:
Crochet hook, 4 mm
Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches in 10 cm, change to a thicker crochet hook. If you get too few stitches in 10 cm, change to a thinner crochet hook.

Accessories:
Round inner cushion, approx. 50 cm in diameter.
