KNITTING SPEED:
BEFORE FILTERING:
10 stitches in width and 13 rows in height with stockinette stitch on 9 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.
AFTER FELTING:
13 stitches in width and 24 rows in height with stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
REMEMBER: Needle numbers are for guidance only. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to thicker needles or if you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to thinner needles.
