Materials and dimensions

Knitted carrier bag for baby. The piece is knitted in garter stitch with a wrap, crochet edges and ties. Size premature - 4 years.

Yarn:
Drops Baby Merino
(250) 250-300-300-300-350 (400) g colour 22, light grey
(50) 50-50-50-50-50 (50) g colour 02, natural

Knitting tension:
24 stitches across and 48 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm.

Knitting needles and crochet hook:
3.00 mm circular needles, 80 cm long, for stockinette stitch
Needle numbers are for guidance only. If you get too many stitches in 10 cm, change to thicker needles. If you get too few stitches in 10 cm, change to thinner needles.
2.50 mm crochet hook for edging and ties

Accessories:

More about Catch a Wink

Catch a Wink is a knitting pattern for a baby footmuff with a wrap-over top, crochet edging and tie straps. The footmuff is knitted in Drops Baby Merino, which is a merino wool yarn, and has a soft, classic look in light grey with natural-coloured edges. But of course, you can make it in whatever colours you like ;) The stockinette stitch gives the design a subtle texture, whilst the crocheted edges and tie add lovely details around the neckline. They really bring the design to life.
