The Magic Loop technique can be used - you only need one 80 cm circular needle in each row number.

You can use the Magic Loop technique – in which case you’ll only need an 80 cm circular needle.

Knitting tension:
14 stitches across and 34 rows in stockinette stitch, using 1 strand of Drops Nord or Drops Alpaca and 2 strands of Drops Kid-Silk (= 3 strands) on size 5 needles = 10 x 10 cm.
16 stitches across and 20 rows in stockinette stitch, using 1 strand of DROPS Nord or Drops Alpaca and 2 strands of Drops Kid-Silk (= 3 strands) on size 5 needles = 10 x 10 cm.
REMEMBER: Remember that the needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to thicker needles or if you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to thinner needles.
