Knitted blouse for children. Worked from the top down with a double neck edge, round yoke and multicoloured pattern with sponge. Sizes 2 - 14 years.

Needles for sizes 2 – 3/4 – 5/6 – 7/8 years
4.00 mm round needles, 40 cm and 60 cm in length
3.00 mm circular needles, 40 cm and 60 cm in length
4.00 mm double-pointed needles
3.00 mm double-pointed needles
You can use the magic loop technique – in which case you only need one 80 cm circular needle in each needle size.

Needles for sizes 9/10 – 11/12 – 13/14 years:
4.00 mm circular needles, 40 cm and 80 cm in length
3.00 mm circular needles, 40 cm and 80 cm in length
4.00 mm double-pointed needles
3.00 mm double-pointed needles
You can use the magic loop technique – in which case you only need one 80 cm circular needle in each needle size.

Knitting tension:
21 stitches across and 28 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
Please note: Remember that the needle size is only a guide. If you end up with too many stitches per 10 cm, switch to a thicker needle.
If you have too few stitches per 10 cm, switch to thinner needles.
