Crocheted pumpkin

Size:
Diameter = approx. 10 cm
Height = approx. 5–6 cm

Yarn:
Drops Merino Extra Fine
50 g colour 37, forest green
50 g colour 42, rust

1 pumpkin weighs approximately 24 g with filling.

Crochet hook:
Crochet hook 3.50 mm

Crochet tension:
20 double crochets across and 10 rows up = 10 x 10 cm.
Please note that the needle size is for guidance only.
If you end up with too many stitches per 10 cm, switch to a thicker crochet hook.
If you have too few stitches over 10 cm, switch to a thinner crochet hook.

Accessories:
Water for filling.

Pumpkin Swirls is a crochet pattern for a small decorative pumpkin. The pumpkin is crocheted in the round from the bottom up in Drops Merino Extra Fine, which is a merino wool yarn, and is stuffed with wadding to give it a round, decorative shape. The stem is crocheted last in forest green, whilst the pumpkin itself is crocheted in rust.
