The piece is knitted from the top down with a European / sloping shoulder and cables.

Sticks:
Circular needles 4.00 mm and length depending on the size of the waistcoat: 60-60-60-60-80-80-80 cm.
Circular needles, 3.00 mm: length depending on the size of the waistcoat: 60-60-60-60-80-80-80 cm.
4.00 mm double-pointed needles
3.00 mm double-pointed needles
Cable needles
You can use the Magic Loop technique – in which case, you’ll only need one 80 cm circular needle in each needle size.

Knitting tension:
21 stitches across and 28 rows in stockinette stitch on size 4 needles = 10 x 10 cm.
REMEMBER: Needle numbers are for guidance only. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to thicker needles or if you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to thinner needles.
