Santa's Parade

Knitted elf Christmas decoration. The piece is worked from the top down in garter stitch.

SIZE:
The piece measures approx: Width at the bottom = 8 cm. Length = 10 cm without strap.

MATERIALS:
DROPS PARIS from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group C)
50 g colour 37, wine red
50 g colour 17, natural white
+ a leftover e.g. colour 43, forest green for eyes

1 gnome weighs approximately 9 g.

KNITTING SPEED:
20 stitches in width and 41 rows in height with garter stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE: Remember that needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches in 10 cm, change to thicker needles. If you get too few stitches in 10 cm, change to thinner needles.
