Pastel colours in yarn give a light and soft look to knitwear.
Here I've put together a small colour palette of blue, peach and yellow in Drops Nord and Drops Kid Silk.
The three colours work well together because they are all in the same light and calm tone.
The combination allows for stripes, small patterns or blocks of colour.
Drops Nord is a lightweight and durable yarn, while Drops Kid Silk can be used to give the project a light and airy texture.
Pastel colours are especially great for spring knitting, baby projects or light sweaters.
I have found two recipes where the two are used.
It's the same design in a sweater or a cardigan with a round yoke and lace pattern.
Blue colours: Drops Nord no. 26 and Drops Kid Silk 07
Peach colours: Drops Nord no. 27 and Drops Kid Silk 53
Yellow colours: Drops Nord 28 and Drops Kid Silk 52

250-300-300-300-350-350-350-400-400-450 g colour 29, marzipan
and use:
DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group A)
100-125-125-125-150-150-150-175-175-175 g colour 56, marzipan
BUTTONS:
DROPS KNOT size 521: 7-7-7-7-7-7-8-8-8-8 pcs.
PINDE:
DROPS CIRCULAR KNOT size 4,5: Length 40 cm and 80 cm.
DROPS ROUND PINDLE NR 3.5: Length 80 cm.
DROPS DOUBLE-POINTED NEEDLES NO. 4.5.
DROPS DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES NO. 3.5.
The technique MAGIC LOOP can be used - you only need one 80 cm circular needle in each row number.
KNITTING SPEED:
18 stitches in width and 24 rows in height with stockinette stitch and 1 strand of each quality on 4.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE: Remember that needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches in 10 cm, change to thicker needles. If you get too few stitches in 10 cm, change to thinner needles.
