Pink yarn and shades of pink can give knitwear a soft and lively look.
Here are four different combinations in Drops Baby Merino and Drops Kid Silk.
The different shades of pink can be used together to create depth in a project or as a contrast to more neutral colours.
Baby Merino adds body and softness, while Kid Silk adds a light structure and a slight sheen to the yarn.
The colours are suitable for children's knitwear, accessories or a sweater where the colours are allowed to play together. The delicate pink colours can be good if you're looking for a more subdued look, while the more vibrant pink tones give full punch and strength to the finished project.

12 o'clock - Strong power pink: Drops Baby Merino 08 and Drops Kid Silk 13
3 o'clock - Soft Pink: Drops Baby Merino 05 and Drops Kid Silk 72

150 g in all sizes in colour no. 02, natural
and use:
DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio
50-50-50-50-75 g f.nr 01, natural
DROPS NEEDLE OR CIRCULAR (60 cm) no. 5 - or the row number you need to get 17m x 22p stockinette stitch with 1 thread of each quality of 10 x 10 cm.
SIZE:
Height: Measured along the centre = approx. 20 cm.
Width: Measured along the top side from side to side = approx. 116 cm.
YARN:
DROPS BABY MERINO from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group A)
50 g colour 08, cherry
And use:
DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group A)
25 g colour 13, cherry
PINDE:
DROPS ROUND PINDLE NR 5: Length 40 cm.
KNITTING SPEED:
17 stitches in width and 28 rows in height with pearl knit = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE: Remember that needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches in 10 cm, change to thicker needles. If you get too few stitches in 10 cm, change to thinner needles.
